Education and sport
Endom is a small town and district center located in the Nyong and Mfoumou division in the center region of Cameroon. The municipality of ENDOM actually has 55 villages and an urban space which is not delimited into quaters , with more than 65.108 habitants , 60% of them are less than 18 years old .
“Bivoué Bi Nnam Sport club”
Most of the population lives from small agriculture and small commerce. People there are very big fans of sport in general and football in particular , they unfortunately don’t have any registered and active sport club.
The results of the participatory diagnostics carried out both at the level of the municipal institution, the municipal urban space and in the villages reveal that the Municipality of ENDOM has multiple potential in terms of natural and human resources. However, it remains insufficiently equipped with social and economic infrastructure. The local economic is still embryonic with weak organizational and institutional development of the Town . The major part of the active population works in the primary sector. The problems encountered by the Municipality of ENDOM are of various kinds, the most important of which are:
– Difficult access to drinking water and electrical energy;
– Difficult access to quality basic education;
– The municipality’s poor coverage of health infrastructure;
– Difficult access of Sport club except in some schools.
BBN S C , is a Smiledation developement program for Bivoué Binam sport club ( what literally means Community game sport club ) both on and off the field involving a holistic approach that addresses various aspects of the club and city dynamics, performance, and overall well-being.
Sport in Cameroon and all over the world is a very powerful social tool. But all depends on how it is perceived, understood, and experienced within society. Sport plays a significant role in many communities, cultures, and countries around the world, and its social impact extends beyond the boundaries of the activity itself. Here in Endom where we don’t have big diversity free time activities, it’s important to benefit from some key aspects of the social definition of sport . Thus we do our best for our BBN SC by trying to establish a sustainable program that helps all of us to improve ( kids, parents, fans, board members …)
The municipality of Endom has got several popular sportmen ( football players) who plaid in an international level and even represent the country and win major trophies. We came name l Jean Paul Akono, Timothé Atouba, Yannick Mbengono, Assou Ékotto, Joel Epalle …
To get the best from our amazing program, we set the goal, the path to follow, then at the end te verry specifical need for kids and parents mprovement.
